So ya thought ya loved Mapquest, Maptech or Google Map? Me too. But just like in kayaks, I crave performance, it's soooooo much better.
Well here's my latest discovery, and I'm in love. Dig this...
This is a view of the Port Everglades Inlet lookin ENE at a nice low angle. Awesome.
It's like ownin yer own helicopter!
Stupendous! Not only can I find any spot quickly, I can interactively control the view, perspective, height and direction. Interactively and easily! Try that with Mapquest.
Even more. You can add your own icons, markers and popups. Even reproduce Anna Nicole Smith in mountainous, er momentaneous detail. State of the art. Link to Additional Detail and yes, more links...
...yup, just another day in Paradise...

you been off the board for weeks and this is the best you could come up with?
I'm happy for all you map users but I don't need no stinking maps. Just point me in the direction of the water and I'll sniff it out.
Just kidding ya Capn... good stuff....
P.S. I don't normally go out on that side, sure looks different from what I remember. Can you get a lower angle?
The angle is distorting my view...can you fly that helicopter to the entrance and get a pic looking from the opposite direction. Not convinced it is Port Everglades.
