A 12 footer, finally, but I still can't for the life of me figure out why they cost so much. I just don't get it. If they 18 footer was about $1500 I'd buy one in a heartbeat, but at $4000 its not even in the ball park. Way over priced. I can get a very nice Seakayak in Kevlar for almost half that price.

thats a nice looking boat. paddler range is 75-175 lbs? does that mean how much the paddler weight limit is? at $4,000 theres no way in h3ll. NO kayak in my opinion is worth that much. i dont care if jenna jameson (however she spells it) pops out of it. thats just crazy. at 22lbs, there cant be much material there. bet it cant take a direct hit on anything at all.
(some times the only way to stop a snowballing problem is to go back to the top of the hill and see what started it.)

No doubt they'll probably sell a few. Looks like it's 3k in carbon and 2k for composite, which is $$$ but realistic considering the materials.
Native Watercraft's Tegris has the potential to make composites a material of the past. Though it's slightly less rigid than composite it'll take an enormous amount of impact. It's safer for the environment, recycleable and a little cheaper than composite.
