Woo hoo! First time I set up a Forum and didn't blow up the entire site... (yet )!
Anyway, Joey, Jon said I can take a crack at setting up this Forum, so please check my work and make sure everything is OK. I'll be transferring the other threads to this Forum soon.
Anyway anyway, welcome to the Design Your Own Kayak Forum. Let's use this Forum to discuss and exchange ideas about what we would consider desireable features in a kayak. Hopefully, we will have participation from various Kayak Manufacturers, industry insiders, and other folks with more knowledge to offer a different perspective so we can all be enlightened and learn something. Also, this is Santiago II's first time moderating (at least on this site), so be gentle with him! Now, I guess I'll have to make extra copies of the keys to the KFS outhouse, Kia, and Jon boat!
Our first topic in this Forum will be a discussion on a High Performance Fishing Kayak (whatever that may mean to different folks). Other topics are welcomed.

Hey Sin, Excellent idea! My guess is that it is probably a first for the Web. Now what shall we refer to the Forum as--the Sin and Santi Forum, or maybe the Sin and Saint Forum, or how about the Sinners and Saints Forum--the possibilities fairly boggle the mind...

This is cool, all this power at my finger tips. Ever see the clip from "Bruce Almighty" where the guy that got the anchor job Bruce wanted starts babbling nonsensically.
It's very easy to do that to an unsuspecting poster in a written format with the edit function. Thank goodness all the mods here are emotionally stable and well balanced. No power trips here......
